  1. I copied a dvd to my harddrive using dvd backup and burned it to a dvd r with toast and the dvd will not work on my dvd player or my computer. The movie will still open and play with DVD Player if I open the saved version on my harddrive. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks in advance.

  2. I'm a PC user so I can only say what I know and hope it help's. Might be your media your using. The DVD player your trying to play it on does it read other DVD-R's? If so I would think it's just the media. I APPLE and Maxell make good DVD-R. Also some encoder's when making a DVD-R can make a DVD buggy on DVD play back. i have found this out with some software. I would also try the disc on another DVD player and see if that help's

I agree. Double check to make sure that you didn't simply drag your VIDEO_TS folder in Toast. VIDEO_TS has to be a sub folder on the DVD!!
