  1. ok i captured a movie today an it play's fine but for some reason when i go to cut it the sound goes away on my splits.i've used tmpgenc an vdub an have not had sucess.I also have video vegas but don't understand how to cut with it.an i forgot to add that i've used mpeg-vcr an it didn't work either.

  2. How long is the video? From some testing it looks like you loose all audio through VEdit/Tmpeg at around 3+ hours length of video. If you are running the latest Tmpeg it has a multi file feature. IE it will stitch a bunch into one long video.

    Also what is the audio format?

  3. the movie is about 88 min long an it mp2 for audio my mpeg plays fine just when i go to cut it is when the sound goes away.when i use tmpeg its said something about a os report an i keeps crashing

  6. Not use to Vegas. Use to Priemere, Tmpeg, VDub etc. Usualy use non compress audio in the raw stock I edit.

    Let me try some test. Oh Which version of Tmpeg are you running?

  7. i've used video vagas to cut the mpg(takes a long time).but it did what i needed.thanks for the fast help!
