Hello folks,
I recently picked up a really cheap modern DVD player ( Welkin T-313), it came with hardly any documentation and didnt even state if it would play VCD or SVCD or not. After a little experimentation I found not only would it play any S/VCD, but it would also play JPG files PSD files BMP files .. MP3 files, and read the ISO 9660 and Joliet Filesystems presumably as well giving me a directory listing of my files.
Anyway to get to the point..
I have 2 questions, the first is :
What files are likely to be allowed by my cheap player ?(any wierd file types I could possibly expect to read ?)
(I know I can read: MPG, MPEG, JPG, BMP, PSD , (havent tried but prob GIF) , MP3)
the second is:
Is it possible (with my new player) that I could set up some sort of playlist that can be autorun, or even just autorun a valid file without converting to say a VCD format ?
I would really like to maintain original filenames as well
Anyway thats about it, thanx in advance for any postings on these matters ..
All the Best ..
Barrie
