    I'm looking for a cheap player <$80 that supports

    Support format: VCD SVCD Other features: Selectable SVCD/CVD subs SVCD audio tracks
    *JPEG pictures

    *MPEG1/2 ISO

    *most important

    yes, i did a search, but most of the players appear to be unavailable for purchase.

    Good luck.

    The MINTEK from BEST BUY does all but SVCD.
    The APEX from WALMART does all but DVD-R/RW (reliably)

    This is why I have two DVD players. On is perfect on ALL CD (Apex 1100) and teh other is perfect on ALL DVD (Toshiba 2800).

    walmart wasn't selling the 1100. they did have the 1110w which has some mixed reviews.

    they also have thte apex ad2500 but it also has some negative reviews.
