  1. When i convert an avi file with TMPGEnc and i split it in two parts the first part is allways perfect and after doing the second part it is allways jerkey. I must be doing something wrong to get that result.

I do the first part by choosing start frame then end frame, after first part is done i choose the second one by starting where i finished the first part and do the same thing. Second part is allways jerkey. How come first part is 100% good and second part is Jerkey??What i'm i doing wrong.

It happens every time i split a movie.

  3. Are you using the cut function in TMPGEnc's MPEG tools, or in the wizard?

  4. I am using the one in Settings that says SOURCE RANGE. Double click on it then i do the split. My problem is that i never done a second part that is not jerkey. Dont understand why, because i do not change any settings so why is the first part perfect and the second part jerkey?? I also checked for bad frames with Virtualdub and there is none.

  5. Alright, then try getting Virtual Dub and cut your AVI source into 2 AVI files, before encoding the seperate MPEG files. The encode each AVI separatly.
