Ok after a year or two my crap Hitachi that I payed about 150.00 for is going out of sync all the time and it is time to buy another dvd player...
I would like the following capabilities:
DVD-R, DVD+R, Mp3, VCD, SVCD, Region Free/Macrofree hacks
and I would like a good quality player that is within the 100.00 mark??
Everyone is talking about Apex and Mintek, but a dvd player that is 30.00 dollars is crap.. I mean if something sells for that cheap, there has to be something wrong.

Try to buy a cheap player like Red Star from Real Supermarket or ProMac, they do everything and are regionfree.

I'd get the new Lite-on LVD-2001, it play's everything including Divx and both PAL/NTSC. You can disable Macrovision with the remote and it plays mp3 DVDR's
I'm getting oneit's 139 at PC Club

the older Pioneer models play everything thrown at them.
I have the DV-333 model. U can only find them on ebay now though. All I've got in this world is my balls and my word.....
and I don't break them for no one!
