  1. Hello,

Burning with Nero 5.5.5.1 finally results in a SVCD that can FFW/FRW....
They said to have solved it in every latest release, but it seems like they finally found the bug.

  2. I've just tried it and verified that FF/RW actually works.
However, GOTO doesn't work for me anymore
That is, I can't jump to a specific time anymore, nor
can I display how much time remains on the SVCD.
I am using an Apex 600A player to test.

    Does it work for you?

I have not yet used 5.5.5.1, but try putting in the SVCD. Then press Stop (disabling PBC) and press Play *OR* Press the 'Previous Track' button choosing Track 01. That should fix it.

  4. I've pretty much given up on using Nero to burn the actually MPEG and always make an image of it first (Nero burns these ok). Then I can use ff/rew, goto, etc no problem.

To be fair I only have this problems with SVCD, VCD and Nero seems ok (for my APEX AD600A and 5.5.3.5)

  5. Hello,

Indeed the GOTO function disappeared.... Just getting the stop-hand (indeed I also use an APEX/HITEKER BI-600E)
Damn there's always something wrong with NERO...

There's also a strange new addition when burning SVCD's, you can change some of the COMPATIBILITY settings, being The directory name to put the videos in (MPEG2 or MPEGAV) and the file-identification (ENTRYVCD or ENTRY SCD)
