  1. Hi

    I have a question...

    I Have movie in AVI format...
    I use Nero to burn... The movie is around 693 mb, but when i put in to Nero it grows to around 1 gb... so i can burn..

    and i have another question

    Today i burn a small AVI movie to a cd....
    When i played it on may DVD-Player in the living room, the pictuere was up-side down.... and i lookt at the movie on my PC and the movie lookt allright...

    And my last question.

    Can i burn a AVI movie on a DVD-RW disk and play it on my DVD-Player in my living room


    Im sorry for my bad Inglish, I only 15 years old and i live in Sweden :P

    # 1 you source file is divx or mpeg4 or xvid or something that is more compressed than mpeg2

    # 2 install the latest codec for ther source file you are using and see below

The critical factor in an avi file is the time length, because in order for the movie to play in a standalone DVD Player, you have to use Nero to convert it to one of three formats (depending on the capabilities of your DVD player and your hardware) DVD, VCD or SVCD, which are always bigger in terms of megabytes.

    I have heard about upside-down picture before, but it has never happen to me, do a search in the forums.


    And as for watching an avi movie in a DVD player, there are plans to integrate that capability in future DVD players, but as of today I don’t think there are any that can do

  5. ok, but is it any way to get a avi movie burn to a DVD-RW disk ?
    convert it ? or how...
    please help me... i dont know what to do to the 10 DVD-RW disk a bought, for 30 $
    any body that have a easy guide or somthing.......

  7. i never encoding using nero, i get upside down results, and you dont have as much control over end result either
