Can someone explain me why there are so many conflicting results on this item for e.g. regarding Sony NS705 or Philips Q40 some say it works and some say it won't. Am I missing something? Thank you!

Your post is a bit confusing. Not all player are picture cd complaint that is why some will play and some won't I have both a sony and a panasonic player (six months old, five years old respectively) and neither of them play picture cd's. If you want this in your player you will have to make sure of this before you by the product.

Thank you, hardcoreruss. I will explain me better, I hope. The problem is that when you look at the posts in this site about this item concerning a specific player, for e.g. those two, they are different. Some users say Philips q40 plays jpg and some say it doesn't! I don´t know is there is a hack for it or something...
