Has anyone else had this problem?
I've been using Tmpgenc in batch mode to make SVCDs for a long time with no problems.
I've recently got a DVD burner, so I'm re-encoding a lot of .avi files to DVD format.
For one thing, it's taking *much* longer, but I can live with that...
The problem is that some files in the batch stop processing with the message "Aborted by user"!!!
This has happened consistently with two .avi files. One of them was captured from a DV digicam, and one of them was captured from old VHS tapes. They are both pretty big (> 4 GB), but I have batch encoded even bigger files (>6 GB) without any problems.
It's pretty frustrating to get 5 hours into encoding and discover that the process has stopped!

I would use the Source Range function to continue encoding from where the first batch process stopped.
