The source mpeg-1 file I'm working with has its left and right audio channels swapped. I want to correct them by moving the left to the right and the right to the left. Is there a way to do this in the mpeg format? I've de-multiplexed the file and so I also have just the audio if this is easier to work with.
Anyone have any ideas or know any programs that can do what I want easily and quickly??
Thanks.

De-multiplex the audio (you have done this). Open it in godwave (www.goldwave.com - shareware). Can't remember the exact menu options but there is an option to swap left an right channels. Save as wav (uncompressed PCM). Convert back to mp2 with your favourite encoder (Tmpgenc, Besweet, Headac3he). Re-multiplex with your video using TmpGenc.
Hope this helps
