Output movies to a fire wire

The only program I know to output avi movies thru a firewire to a mini-dv camera connected to a tv is video2dv.
However using this program the video output is very slow on the tv (the sound is in sync). I am not sure whether its the firewire card that is slow or my processor (650MHz). The avi movies play fine on the same machine using media player.

Does anyone know of any other programs that i could use to output movies/data to the firewire.

Grab yourself a copy of Vegas Video 4, it works great for sending videos out to your digital camcorder via firewire.
