  1. Ok i have a problem ,i want to join some svcds together so i can put a couple on dvd .Now im not converting, just joining the 2 AVSEQ01.mpg files together.I use Tmpgenc Plus > File > Mpeg Tools > Merge & cut.Now i join the two files together but once the new file gets to the join point the audio drops way out of sync,it sounds like 5 seconds have been removed from the end of the first file.

    Any help please ....

    Thanks.

You could join the audio files first usingGold Wave. Then, once your video files are joined multiplex the audio into it.

I suggest you keep them as they are, that is two different tracks. Best way to stay away from sync probs. You get them as chapters/tracks, so you can skip easy. Maybe you'll get a little jumb between the tracks though.

  4. I have found that the latest MPeg2VCR (3.14) www.womble.com works very well to cut and join SVCDs. Earlier versions didn't work so well, but this latest one seems to rock - I've been joining SVCDs (editing them so the overlap is gone) with this guy and haven't had a problem yet!
