When exporting to tape, whenever a scene comes up that has two or more audio tracks, the sound mutes and unmutes every two seconds. This is a weird problem! I have no idea what could be causing this - it could be a bunch of things. WHat am I doin wrong?![]()

Did you render the timeline to an AVI file before exporting to tape? I've never tried it, but I'm sure you can't just send multiple audio and video tracks to tape without flatening to one AVI first. Also check project settings - make sure the project settings and input file are the same setting (very important).
I once had the project settings @ AVI type-2 with 48khz audio. The file I was using was an AVI type-2 with 32khz audio.
When I renderd the AVI, the audio would stutter like what you said.
Hope that helps.Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........ -
I rendered the timeline (I rendered from disk) - yet I'm not sure if it was to AVI. The project settings I'll have to look at later on..

The easy way to render to tape is to play the video directly from the timeline out to your VCR or DV recorder.
