for all you future AMD buyers...
Make sure you buy a motherboard that supports the new AMD "PAL#####" something... because the newer chips that comes out will only support motherboard with AMD760 and above....
I just bought a new system... AMD 1.4, ASUS A7M,256DDR, 40gigs, case,16xdvd,24XCDR, Geforce2Pro 64DDR, without keyboard, mouse, and monitor =( ... but pay under $1000

Where did you read that ? can you give a link ? cause I know that AMD's future Morgan and Palomino will work on current SocketA mainboards, and you will only need a BIOS update so it will support the SSE extention of the AMD CPU's, and i've also read that you can use the MP version (Multi Processor) on regular boards.

That's right, BIOS update only.
However, make sure you get your mobo from a respectable company that will release updates!

I hope EpoX releases this update for their 8KTA3+ as soon as they release those processors.
