  1. What I tried to do is open a .vob that is 5gigs in size and FlaskMpeg (lates version) crashed on me. So I'm wandering can someone tell me if there is a size limit? What I was trying to do is convert that .vob to Divx using Flaskmpeg.

  3. OK, thanks. I am using FlaskMPEG 0.7.8.39 and I can't open up ifo files. I downloaded and extracted a file called thunder.mism to the FlaskMPEG directory but it didn't help. I'm following this tutorial: http://jaeger.morpheus.net/video/flaskmpeg-divx.php but I keep getting a "error occurred while opening up file" message. Can someone help me out? Is there other tutorials that are preferred?

  4. Well, I got it to work. FlaskMpeg only likes ifo if all the vob's from the main movie are extracted also. What I tried to to do is just extract the ifo and first vob. Well I guess you can see I'm a newbie. Now to go and play with the divx settings

  5. vukodlak75,

I'm having the same problem when trying to rip using Flaskmpeg. Now when u said u got it did u extrzct the vob and ifo files from dvd first or did u rip it straight from the DVD rom?

I cant seem to do either. I try ripping .vob and .ifo files using smartripper first and then using flask but i getan error and it crashes on me. ANy thoughts?

  6. Did you install thunder.mism? You can get it here (scroll all the way down): http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downloads/flaskmpeg.html
Extract it to the same directory as FlaskMpeg. If you have done this then try ripping all the files from the dvd and then try opening it with FlaskMpeg. I've never used FlaskMpeg to rip so I can't help you there.
I'm still a newbie at all this so that's all I can offer. Good luck.
