  1. I have a series of mpg's that i dled that all encoded fine when i did what i wanted in tmpgenc...but 3 outta about 70 had problems..

they all started up toolame fine but these 3 would crash and an xp error window would pop up and say that it needs to close.

so i click ok, and then it goes bakc to tmpgenc and a msg there says "error, cannot open temp<some numbers here>.mpa

    and the encoding stops there..

whats wrong with it?? should i just use tmpgenc's default mp2 encoder?

    please help

ps.. the only things i was doing in tmpgenc to the files were clipping some vhs noise from the bottom and left sides and a slight 'simple color correction'...and on one of em i did a sharpness correction.

again, pls help soon, as i need to back these files up (my harddrive seems to shrink....)

    thanks,

there's a more recent version of toolame than the one you'll find if you go through the tools section here. go to the site below and get the latest version and your problems will likely go away.
