    Need help Fast! - video plays too fast

    Hi

    I am usng Pinnacle Studio 400 and catpruing from a VHS camcorder

    Most programs I use play the video back twice as fast. Others play back and the avi is out of sync

    Please reccommend me a program to slow down the avi file or a program which captures the video & audio without eror.

    This maybe a problem with DirectX. Try reloading DirectX, if that doesn't work try a different version of DirectX. Had a similar problem at work video and audio played too fast. Reloaded DirectX and video played fine but audio too fast. Updated audio drivers and everything working fine now. So it could be your DirectX or your video capture drivers.
