  1. Hi!

I am trying to back-up a DVD with DTS, LPCM and Dolby Digital soundtracks. On the original disc, the LPCM track is the default sound track. I have run this disc through DVD2One (v1.1.2), and removed the DTS and LPCM tracks to save space for the video. However, when I test the disc with PowerDVD, it tries to play the LPCM track, and so I get no sound. The sound plays fine when i change it to the dolby digital track.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to change the default audio track in the IFO's so the dolby digital track plays? I took a look at the IFO's in Ifoedit, and they show all 3 audio tracks, but naturally, these are not present in the VOB's.

Shouldnt DVD2One actually change the IFO's so they dont have the excluded sound tracks anyway?

Cheers in advance for any help.

Open VTS_01_0.IFO file with IFOedit and if it shows more than 1 audio track then note which audio track you want to start. If there is only 1 track then skip this post.

Double click VTS_PGCITI/VTS_PGC_1 and scroll down to PGC Command Table.

If there is a Pre Command that says Set Audio Stream then right click and choose Edit Command. Change the stream to the audio track#-1 (track 3 = 2) you want to start with. Save file. Your done.

If it says There is no Pre Command Table then right click on that line and choose Add Pre Command. Right click on 1.Pre Command and choose Edit Command, select (SetSTN)Set Audio Stream Nr and enter track#-1. Save file.

    Hope this helps.
