    I made my first DVD from my home movies using Ulead DVD movie factory. The mpeg file was made using CCE. Everything looks nice, but when I am fast forwarding the movie in the standalone player, it would suddenly return to the movie showing the "operation not allowed" icon. It seems to do this randomly at different locations of the movie, did it several times in some of them. What can be wrong? Thanks in advance for any ideas.

    The problem is probably with your DVD authoring, not your encoding. Give us some information on what you are using there and someone can probably help.

    I am using Ulead DVD MovieFactory 1.0 to make a simple menu (one clip, several chapters) and then to burn a DVD+RW.
