  1. I conver my dvd to svcd using dvd2svcd combine with CCE.
    I burn with NERO using verbatin cd and a 2x burning speed.

    I use the pioneer DV-454 player to view the svcd on my tv.
    I have reading error like colourise square points or picture "mosaique" defect.

    The first time i use the disk it seems perfect then on the second time defect start up to a point image is stop with mosaique probleem while the sound continue ............

    I really don't know from where the prob is comming encodind or playing equipment

    Will be happy if somebody can help

    IF it plays OK on your pc, then it must be something about the SVCD that your player does not like. You used a good brand of disk at a slow burn speed so it shouldn't be that, but you could try it on a CD-RW to be sure.

    It could be other things like:
    Bitrate too high, especially if above 2500 KB/s.
    Audio at 48 KHz, not the 44.1 KHz standard.
    Dirty disk.

  6. The fact that it works once then fails on subsequent plays is interesting. I have seen this effect on low-quality blanks, or on a scratched or damaged disk.

    I have also noticed a similar effect related to play sequence, wherein playing a specific file type would then cause a subsequent, specific file type to play incorrectly, although the "bad" file would play OK if it was the first one played. Have you tried turning the player off, then powering up and play the suspect disk before trying any thing else?
