    This may seem like a silly question

    i play my movies on my mac using VLC, and compared to using my friends PC, i notice that the playback on mine, you notice the artifacts more rather than on the PC where you dont really notice them at all, its the same file, but its just played "better" on teh PC, does anyone have the same not really problem, but observation?

    Mplayer OSX 2 has a better postfiltering quality on AVI mpeg-4 files, compared to VLC.
