i hav a clip here which has ac3 audio in it, but when i extract the audio, there isn't any sound...i use vdub to extract the audio..then when i put it into winamp it tells me the codec is missing..but all the regular avi wav files still play, ive also downloaded the ac3 codec but that doens't help much, has anyone ever had this proble, before...holla back

  2. try extracting the audio with goldwave. Open the video file resave the audio as .wav then put the sound back on (vdub or tmpgenc)

  4. i have only just figured this out but if the video has ac3 sound the easiest and (in my opinion) best way without any messing about is to use goldwave - a demo is in the tools section on this site

No, it doesn't have the codec. You must d/l the codec and install it first.
