    i own a win tv usb tv capture carsd, but i wanna learn how to capture things, onto my hd, is there aguide on this site, or can some one show me or link me too info on how to capture stuff

    I started out a few years back with the WinTV usb models. The software that comes with them is garbage. Try getting WIN DVR or WINDVDR software. You can download a trail version at www.intervideo.com. I would also look for an internal capture card in the long run. I think you'll be happier. Just my experience! The above software, the first one, supports your USB model with an EPG (Electronic Programming Guide) so you can set-up and be away much like a VCR.
