I have been able to create beautiful SVCDs with Nero's 5.5.4.0 to play back on my Apex 600a. I have the newer drive loader firmware (LI-17) as well as the main board firmware installed (N5) as well. The disc was created with a menu. The problem is that the 9th and higher tracks seem to play back extremely poorly -- blocky and stuttering, definitely not like the first few tracks which play fine.
Anyone experience anything like this?
Another side-line question, does it make any difference if you use CD-RW as opposed to CD-R for these applications?
Thanks...

I tried with Nero 5.5.3.5 and this same problem occurs not only with the Apex, but also using winDVD. These upper tracks are getting screwed up somehow.
Has anyone tried making a 10+ track SVCD with Nero that
played properly?
