Come on Guys and Girls, stand up and be counted!
We all wanna know where to get CHEAP dvd-r media in ENGLAND.
So if you have had a good bargain or even a bad experience with online sales let it be known.

I recently purchased some white top 1x disks from BIGPOCKETS.CO.UK and they did not work in my Pioneer 105 but it did not state this in the product description it said "Recomended for pioneer 103, 104" but on other media it clearly said "Will only work on............."

Anyway back to the programme. Cheap dvd-r media infact dvd+r too lets stick together and share our bargains.

    Make backups, not War!

  3. I used to use SVP & bigpockets for at least a year the trouble with them both is that they have got to big for there boots they have forgoten about the poeple who made them.

I have recently started using http://www.nexus22.com the guy there Chas has always given me decent advise and he does not mind answering any questions I have put to him.

Plus he does all the local computer fairs down south were I live so I dont have to pay carriage for the goods.

I only hope they wont go the way of the other internet traders and forget who made them.

    Hi,

www.cd-rmedia.co.uk is another to add to the list. Their new range of Zero Defex Ritek based DVD-R's are very cheap and are excellent quality. No service problems with them either, but then again I never have problems with bigpockets or svp either ... (whoever is cheapest!)

IMHO Ritek based discs are the only way to pretty much guarantee reliability ...
