  1. Alright, I'm using Nero to burn DVD-Video discs that will be used in a DVD changer. How do I put the cover picture and/or CD Text (DVD Text?) title on the disc too?

In Nero I'm burning the UDF 1.02 Data DVD, and just creating the VIDEO_TS/AUDIO_TS folders.

    Any help would be appreciated!

Click here to download your cover if it is available. That site also has a program that prints out covers for you. For me, a program called CD Labeler to print out the labels for me.

Be advised, there is a lot of discussion on whether or not you should label DVDs. I labeled my VCDs and almost all of them failed, even an irreplaceable one I had of my wife shopping in Italy. So I only use CD hub labels and case label from now on.

  3. Thanks, those pics will come in handy. However, what I meant was pics stored on the DVD and showing up in the DVD Changers menu. Usually it's the front cover of the DVD. Just nice to have a pic as well as the title. Just really need something to encode .JPG/BMPs into the proper format so the DVD player can read it.

  4. It's called a Jacket Picture. There's a limited amount of authoring programs that can do it for you (Scenarist). But I think you can do it yourself by encoding your graphic to MPEG2 and then putting them in a root folder on you disc called "JACKET_P".
You must include 3 sizes for this to work

    for NTSC: 720X480, 176X112 and 96X64
    filenames: J00_5L.MP2, J00_5M.MP2, J00_5S.MP2

    for PAL: 720X576, 176X144, and96X80
    filenames: J00_6L.MP2, J00_6M.MP2, J00_6S.MP2

I'm not sure how strict the DVD Specs are on this.

As far as DVD Text - I know Scenarist supports it, but I don't know how to do it without an aouthoring program.
