Shrinked DVDs doesnt work.

hi,
i have a problem. i used dvd shrink 1.03 to make some movies 4.3 gb large. this works good. but when i want to watch the shrinked movies with windvd (from hdd). it doesnt work! could it be that they only work when they are burned on a dvd-r?

my other question: some of the movies are "ripped" from a dvd, others are just copied from the dvd. must they be encoded (dvd-encrypter) before i use dvd shrink?

sometimes windvd is a bitch about playing dvd's from the harddrive.. you might try powerdvd.. or use nero and create an .nrg image file from the dvd files, install nero imagedrive, and mount the .nrg dvd image though imagedrive (or powerdvd) and then try playing it.
