  1. hi guys, sorry for the n00b question. but i was wondering is it possible to add menus and chapters to a dvd ive previously made? i made a dvd video a while back and would like to re-author it to add some menu and chapters and keep the quality i have now if possible. do i need to re-encode it? what tools do i need? etc. Thanks in advance.

  2. You need to re-author the DVD. Rip it to the HD, de-mux the streams (mv2, ac3, subs, etc) load them in your authoring program, then make a menu for it. Re-author and re-burn.

I use DVD Maestro for this, but there are a lot of choices. Luck

  4. hrm ive seem to run into some problems with playback on the newly re-authored dvd with menus.. the video playback is a little jittery but audio is in sync. the orig dvd i re-authored from plays flawlessly. Ive been using DVD decrypter to rip, Tmpg to demux, dvdlab to author and nero/recordnow max to burn. Im pretty sure its not the media because im using the same.. both on pioneer dvd-rw.. been playing around with this ever since last night. does anyone have clue whats going on or what im doing wrong?
