  1. I am having quite alot of problems with this program. 1st of all I am running on a Compaq Presario 4000 series I believe, 1.3 ghz celeron, WINXP, with 384 MB RAM. My burner is a Lite On not sure what model. Anyways, it renders a 30 minute SVCD in 10 minutes. Sounds great doesn't it? Until you play it of course, pixelation EVERYWHERE, gradual audio synch lag. Can ANYONE please help me with this program, or at least tell me what steps I am missing, B&W seem not to be too bad but anything else is crap. As well, sometimes it appears as people are walking in slow motion. What am I doing wrong? I purchased the download version from their site and I can say that their forums stink and the manual is useless. HELP ME

  2. I haven't ever messed with the SVCD on there, just DVD, but one thing that might make a difference is the field order if you're capturing using this program. If you are, go into the MPEG settings on the capture screen and play with the field order...switch from a to B, or try de-interlaced and see if that makes a difference.

Also, make sure your bitrate is set correctly in the settings when you go to author the SVCD.

    Hope that helps

  3. I usually use the default bitrate settings and they are right as far as I know. Maybe if I encode with an outside encoder and just use Ulead to burn it might help? Suggestions ANYONE??
