    I have a Sony DVD+RW drive...It won't read a DVD+R....It will read my DVD+RW though....I have used DVD+R before so I know it will work and its the same brand DVD+R's also..It just all of a sudden won't read them...I am getting the error telling me to insert a DVD...The light comes on I can hear it begin to spin then it stops and the light just blinks.....Does anyone have an answer to this? Thanks......

    What I would do first is flash your drive with the newest firmware from Sony.
