Anybody know any good buget sound cards with these features:
- 5.1 analog w digital out for Dolby Digital/DTS
- good positioning for gaming
- good overall quality sound
Two I have been looking at are:
- Philips Acoustic Edge (PSC706) - ebay around $30
- Hercules Fortissimo III - $50 from newegg.com
I would like the M-Audio Revolution 7.1 but I cant find for any less than $90.

Forget where but I picked up a bare soundblaster live for about $25 dollars about a year ago. Good cards.

Yeah, if you live anywhere near a PcClub, you can pick up an OEM sounblaster live 5.1 for ~$20. For a so-called budget card, you can't beat that.
Sometimes, ya just gotta.....umm, what's the word........FART???
