    Ok a quick question.When i've demuxed a m2v from a vob set and opened it in bitrate viewer it tells me its interlaced,but dvd2avi tells me its progressive.If i open the vobs them self in bitrate viewer all of them are progressive except the first vob file is interlaced.When i open the vobs in dvd2avi its says progressive except for a split second at the start it says interlaced the goes to progressive and stays progressive all the way through.(pal movie)

    So should i go by what dvd2avi said and encode it progressive?

    Its progressive. The beginning is interlaced - the little warning messages are the interlaced part I believe. the movie itself is progressive.
