I have been working with freeware and I want to purchase one of the copying softwares (DVD X Copy, DVD2DVDOne..) Will this simplify the process and allow me to keep extras? And which one is the best of them...I don't want anything to complicated...any help will be appreciated...

Does this program allow me to keep all the extras and menus from a DVD-9 and put it on a DVD-5? And another question is can DVD X Copy put movies on 1 dvd and just not 2??? Judging by the DVD95Copy screenshots, it looks pretty simple, is it?

I like DVD2ONE I have used DVD95COPY and I think DVD2ONE is better but I would download a Demo of both program's and run a test and see what you like every one has there favorite's

I like dvd2one also on small tv's (27 in and smaller) you never notice a difference if your just stripping the movie and leave one audio track. What your doing though keeping the extra's and other stuff your going to lose a lot of quality either way you look at it using dvd95 or dvd2one so i would suggest maybe making your own menu so its much smaller then the original dvd's menu and have it link to all the extra's and downsize the extra's also (how great quality do you need them anyhow?) and also get rid of language tracks i just did the 8 mile dvd and their was 5 audio tracks (maybe six) 3 of them were english 2 forign 0 were commentary so so you really need all those extra audio tracks? yes having a 1:1 copy is nice but you also got to think of quality in that equation of coolness

I must admit I've never had any experience with DVD95Copy though I've heard a lot about it. -
Instant Copy = Slow as hell but does a nice job.
DVD2one = Latest version will do 1:1 copies as well as movie only and is very fast.
DVD95 Copy = Faster than Instant copy and does a fine job.
DVDX Copy = Keeps original quality but sometimes requires two discs and it's way over priced.
DVDshrink = The best of them all is lighting fast and the best part it's FREE. -
using an InstantCopy/DVD95Copy hybrid still beats anything out there by a mile for ease of use/effort involved/quality produced
If anyone is interested in what I mean by that just PM me
DVDShrink has some nice features but it's not as good as people make out. It can't exactly fill 4.37Gb and quality is questionable using level 3 & especially level 4 but it's early days yet and it will no doubt improve and obviously as it's free you cannot complain at all
