Is it possible to rip to divx or VCD/SVCD (probably not the last two) and have it encode in black & white to save disk space ?

I got a dvd in black & white and was wondering if theres an easy way to exploit this to save disk space.

Black and White? At age 8 I saw my first color TV. At age 10 we finally could afford one. I haven't watched B/W since. Why? You'll have to get an answer from someone else. I don't think you can de-colorize the orignal. Good luck... I think!

Kennedy would of been great! Two bad he was taken from this earth when I was 2.

Some independant films are still shot in black & white.

Just take a look at Clerks. Best B&W movie I ever seen and it's among the best movies out there. 221st out of tens thousands of movies on imdb
