Ughhhh, doesn't anyone search anymore? Under enviromental variables up your FFDSHOW setting to 3 and bump everything else down to 0 or less. Also, get the 4cc changer and change your XviD to read divx/divx for video/audio.

Gaz, would that also help with a PitA XviD file that's showing up alternately as 23.976 in virtualdub and 29.97 in WMP when it's actually shown to be 30.000 in TMPGEnc and the extracted audio?

Totally threw off my transcoding to PAL (was expecting a speedup 23.976 - 25.000 but instead... 30 down to 25) but got a handle on it now... used inverse telecine simultaneously with a non-conversion at 25fps, and modified sound conversion parameters.

Still very cheeky though and dont want to have to deal with that again

Back after a long time away, mainly because I now need to start making up vidcapped DVDRs for work and I haven't a clue where to start any more!
