  1. Hi, my video source (.avi) is in 16:9 720x300 resolution.
I am encoding to XVCD and what would be the best Resolution to watch on my DVD player. Should I keep it 720x300 or should I got to 480x480, or am I completely clueless?

    Thanks for the help.

XVCD resolution is 352 x 240 (NTSC). I suggest you encode to that resolution to make your XVCD.
