    Anyone here know of any way to burn an avi to a cd and play it directly in a dvd player without converting it to vcd or svcd first? I have heard of a way but I think its a bogus rumor because this sites DVD compatability listing doesnt list AVI as a playable format.

    Any Ideas???

    There is a program on the net that lets you play DivX on a dreamcast, which are usually pretty cheap now.
