    Hi there,
I've made 3 SVCD movies, frameserving in virtualdub, encoding, cutting and Header Trick with TMPGEnc using standars SVCDFilm template, just modifing bitrate. Resaults:
1.- The first one was burned directly with NERO 5.5. Image & Sound quality are great in all 4 CDs but no chapters.
2.- The next 2, I made the VCDs with VCDEasy in order to include chapters, but the last 10-15 seconds of every CD loose the sound.

Question: About the loose of sound, is it commond when using VCDEasy?, could this be due to CD quality?. In summary, could someone please help me with this?

    Thx

    Hi there,

Although nobody seems to care about this issue, I have some new info. I think it is a TMPGEnc problem, because the 4 MPG files have the problem before making the VCD...so VCDEasy is not guilty.
So, it is a multiplexing (Header trick) or cutting.
for this last movies, i tried to cut & Header trick in the same operation,.....that was done changing the file type when cutting.

    any ideas?

  3. losing 20 seconds of audio is a common problem when cutting with TMPGEnc. Use BBMPeg to cut your video - there's a guide around somewhere to the left.

Thx a lot, now it's working with BBMPeg.....a little longer (de-multiplex) but fairly easy.
