TMPGEnc Trial Period over - what next?

My program says "MPEG-2 encoding function has expired". I am trying to covert some files to SVCD via TMPGEnc but I can't. Is there a way around this? Like a way to erase the registry or traces of the program so I can get a brand new trial period? Or is there another free program to covert m2v and mpeg to SVCD compliant mpeg?

Finally, I have a version of TMPGEnc Plus but I got no serial number so I"m pretty sure that won't work.


So I'm looking for your suggestions!

You can try bbMpeg. It is freeware. My suggestion would be to use flaskmpg which uses bbMpeg as a plugin to encode. Both are freeware. You can get flaskmpg from www.doom9.org. Also if you ask for a crack for TMPG or any software on this board it may get you banned. No doubt someone is now reporting you to a moderator. 8)

I wouldn't classify his statements as warez, he didn't ask for a serial or crack to crack it just away to get another trail version that he downloaded (re another, different version) to work with a trail period. Which is a legit use since he got a newer version to test. I'm sure the registry keys are left by the older version and will not let a newer version work in trial mode. Not only that he asked for freeware alternatives. This is deffinatly noy a case like someone asking for Maestro, CCE, Scenarist etc... But I suppose there are some extremely stiff types out there and one is probably reporting him for this post.
I would recomend flask as a freeware I think their home page is flaskmpeg.com to get the newest and info, but if you can afford it buy Tmpegenc its great, if you can afford the 2 grand get CCE its the best and encodes almost in realtime for each pass.--
