  1. I'm trying to fit a 89min movie to a VCD and it needs to be encoded smaller. The problem is that the size stays above 900mb, no matter what bitrate I encode the film in. I tried to encode it in TMPGEnc using Constant Bitrate 900bps. Too big, about 980mb. Then I changed the bitrate to 800 bps but the size stayed about the same! Why is it, that the TMPGEnc says it will fit on one 80min CD, so the file size would be under 800mb and the real size is over 900mb after the encoding. Do some other options have effect on the movie size besides the bitrate used on video and audio and why does the size of the film stay high?

Under 'MPEG Settings/System' change from 'MPEG-1 Video CD' to 'MPEG-1 Video CD (Non-Standard)' after unlocking the settings.
