Hello All,
Thanks to all your great help I am getting quite good at this converting lark. However with a bit more help I could be even better.
I use to have problems with the frame jerking but someone on here told me it was cause of my frame rate (sorry I can't remember exactly who).So that is sorted.
The problem I have now is I never know whether to choose 16:9 widescreen NTSC or 4:3 PAL or 1:1. In audiodub there is the file information tab which tells me what the framerate is. Is there an option somewhere to tell me what option to use in tmpgenc.
THANKS FOR ALL YOUR GREAT HELP.

If you are burning a VCD, CVD or SVCD you should always choose between 4:3 or 16:9. 4:3 is allmost square so if your movie looks like a square you should choose 4:3. If your movie looks like a rectangle you should choose 16:9. The resolution for (s)VCD and DVD are 4:3, but when you encode a 16:9 movie there will be a letterbox around it. I beliefe that when you check 16:9 your widescreen tv will automaticly fit it onto the screen without the letterbox. My experience is that PowerDVD will stretch the movie, but it looks fine on my tv.
