    Hi,
    Whenever I try to cut commercials with Virtualdub the AVI will play perfectly up to the place where I first cut it. Then it will have no sound at all but the video is fine. I do have the setting set as stated in the How to (IE I do have direct stream copy set for audio and video.) What am I doing wrong? Please help!

    Are you cutting at "Keyframes" use the yellow key to jump to the nearest one before you mark it.

    Yep, cutting with keyframes. I just cannot figure it out!

    So you have checked the movie for freeze frames ? then you have cut out the bits you don't want at keyframes.

    Freeze frames and cuts not at keyframes cause this problem.

    Oh, I guess your using Streaming to make the save ?, but have you also tried saving a little with compression ? Use DivX Fast...
