I've been trying to create chapters on my dvdrips from OSex following the posts here, but every time I try to import the .m2v file into DVDSP I get the following error message:
ERROR: Bad format. File: TITLE01-ANGLE1-VIDEO1.M2V
Am I missing a step here?

happens every so often for me when i rip dvd's. and most of the time, if you get the program moremissingtools or moremissingmpegtools, forget what it's called, get that and then run you m2v through bits (timecode) and that should fix it. but how ever big your m2v file is you'll need that much room on your harddrive cause it makes a copy of the file and calls it like fixed.mpg or something.

get the program here. but there have been 3-5 times or so that this hasn't worked and nver really found a work around.pants on, pants off, pants the floor. -
A technique that works for me is to run the .m2v through PulldownX.
Make sure all the options are set to "Disabled" (unless you specifically want to change something else about the video file) -- except "Set DropFrameFlag for NTSC" should be set to TRUE.
This program will take several (many) minutes to process the file, but while it's crunching you can test the result by importing the still-being-created new file into DVDSP.
