I used Scenalyzer Live to capture analog video passed through my MiniDV camcorder and Firewire connection. That part worked fine, Scenalyzer captured the video using scene detection, meaning it saved each scene in its own file. So now I have an hour's worth of video saved in about 30+ files, all ranging in size from about 100MB to 2GB. Some of these clips are as short as a few seconds.
If I author them as is, each file becomes a chapter on the DVD, and I don't want that. So I have to join them, but I'd like to do it without having to reencode them. Can anyone suggest a way to join DV files w/out reencoding? I'm looking for a solution that will take minutes as opposed to hours.
TIA,
--Doug

I like joining with Video Studio 6. It uses a Storyboard, so I just drag and drop. It also has a smart renderer function, which makes the processing go faster.

I am not sure. Why not try the demo and see if you like the results?
