    Has anyone here used the new vegas video? I have been trying it and was wondering if anyone that has used it knows how to encode a 23fps to 29. I know it uses the mainconcept encoder embedded. In mainconcept I use 3:2 pulldown but that is not an option in vegas.

    I got it figured out and I must say that I am impressed with this version. They did a really good job. My video capture works really well. Converting works great! Time wise this version falls between main concept encoder and tmpgenc. Quality wise, the movies I have done are of the same quality as the ones I did with tmpgenc. Another suprise to this version is its ability to convert the sound file to 5.1 without using an external dolby encoder. I don't know if vegas 3.0 did these because I found it cumbersome and gave up on learning it. This version is easy to use.
