okay, this is a total mystery to me. i've captured animation with the ADVC-100 before (the lion king). it turned out beautifully. today, i was capturing Aladdin and noticed something. the edges of different objects/characters are very blocky. it seems to be worse when the color blue is involved. i'm stumped! any suggestions?
note: none of these blocks are from jpeg compression. i saved these pics with zero compression. also this is not interlace artifacts. they are still there after IVTC and/or deinterlacing.

Laserdiscs are cool, but laserdiscs on DVD-Rs are cooler.
