Get all the files, then check which VOB's have the most memory. There is usually about four that take up a little more than a gig each. That will be your movie file.
If everything is infinite then nothing is definite. -
I've checked me VOB files,i have 3 just over 1 gig but the 4th one is 192,000kb making time total of 2hrs.16mins.

That's okay, the last file is usually around that size. Those VOB's contain your movie file. Now all you have to do is use DVDx, DVD2AVI, or whatever you use to make your movie.

I have my 4 vob files but still haven't got the whole film,is there something somewhere saying only to rip a certain amount.
Many thanks

After you get your VOB files with SmartRipper. Exactly what do you do, what is the rest of your process?

Thanks for bearing with me.
The next step, according to the 33 pages I printed off the site, is to open DVD2AVI then follow the steps 1a to 2d.
Thats how i've been doing it.
I've also just tried Easydivx to rip but that came up with the same result.
Many thanks -
Have you tried DVDx? It can't make .d2v or .wav files like DVD2AVI, but it gives you your movies in mpeg format...
