  1. Hi

I just created a dvd and the total amount of data I want to put on the disc is 4489mb and Nero tells me that my blank dvd-r can hold 4488mb !!!!! Which is soooo annoying as I am only 1mb over . So instead of having to do all of the encoding again with slightly smaller bit rates, is there anyway of overburning the dvd-r so that I can fit on th extra mb?
I have looked in nero, but cant seem to find a way, so is there any way or any other software that can do this?

    Thanx

1MB of overburning shouldn't have any bad effect on the output.

  4. I think you could do a little overburn using RecordNow Max.

  5. You can use DVD2One to resize the DVD. The latest version is able to do 1:1 (and movie only if you wish).

Depends on your media. Cheap DVDR's have problems at the very end (last 5%?). So, the odds are not in your favor, but you can try it, it's only a coaster. By the way, if the movie ends in credits, so what, you really want to know who the key grip was?

  7. Hmm, I may need some correction here but I thought overburning was impossible on DVD-R. The reason why it worked on CD-R was of the last part that contained nothing but zero's (or was it one's ? :icon7: ). Anyway I thought this last part did not exist on DVD-R and because of that you could not overburn. But I might be wrong... and if I am, please correct me.

    I didn't think you could overburn a DVD-R(W) either.
