I purchased a DVD recently (Legend of ZU) and when I play it on my Cyberhome CH 402 Standalone, it slows down and freezes on some frames. It does the same on my PS2 AND my toshiba DVD-ROM drive using powerdvd
now, when I play it on my Daewoo DS-2000n, it plays flawlessly
now the thing that is weird about this problem is that a while back, I converted the same movie from divx to svcd and it froze at the same frames and had the same slowdown as it is having now and I am sure that the dvd that I purchased now is not an svcd because it plays on my ps2 and my daewoo ds-2000n which does not play svcd or any kind of dvdr or cdr. Any ideas on this problem?
I would also like to purchase a standalone dvd player that will not have any problems with dvd's in this way, any suggestions on a solid standalone that doesn't not have probles? something in the price range of $100-200 would be excellent, thanks
